  6. The View Menu

  8. SQUASH COLUMNS
  9. This function is selected as the default. Squash Columns enables you to resize the main window, viewing as much text as possible by re-sizing the text.  If Squash Columns is unselected, you will reduce the number of columns according to the size of the window.

  11. DISPLAY INFORMATION
  12. This allows you to view any of the seven categories listed below. When DISPLAY INFORMATION is ticked, you will see two columns in place of four in the window, the left is the file name, the right is the corresponding information about the file. The type of information shown is selected from the list below.

  14. COMMENT
  15. This allows you to view a file‚Äôs comment, for example : a written note created in sound designer II, etc.

  17. FILE TYPE
  18. This allows you to see what  kind of file it is, for example : AIFF, TEXT etc. NB the same file type can be created by different applications.

  20. FILE CREATOR
  21. This allows you to see which application created the file.

  23. FULL PATH NAME 
  24. This allows you to see the path to the file.

  26. CATEGORY 
  27. This allows you to see the group and member categories.

  30. Shows the file's modification date.
  31.  
  32. SIZE 
  33. Shows the file size.

  35. SORT 
  36. This sorts the list using the current view type.
